Dr. Samuel Bryson is a general adult psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Dr. Bryson has had the opportunity to work in twelve different hospitals, both public and private, gaining extensive experience in various areas of psychiatry, including psychosis, mood disorders, adolescent and young adult mental health, forensic psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, eating disorders, working with the defence force, perinatal psychiatry, psychotherapy, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
His primary clinical interests include addiction psychiatry, ADHD, anxiety, autism, bipolar disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
Looking ahead, Dr. Bryson is also interested in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and the intersection of technology, artificial intelligence, and mental health pathology. He hopes these advancements will further enhance current treatment approaches, ultimately helping to alleviate patient suffering, improve productivity, and enhance overall quality of life.
When not working, Dr. Bryson enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing music, and watching comedy.
